Bride of Frankenstein

For this Halloween I was the Bride of Frankenstein which was surprisingly easy to put together. I ordered a vintage wedding dress and a curly statement wig on Ebay (duh). My make up was easily done with black and white face paint. While fitting myself into the Bride of Frankenstein role, I was stumped over the fact that this female monster doesn't have a name of her own. My feminist side kicked in and I angrily thought, "this is why society needs feminism- instead of having my own name, I am known as the BRIDE of Frankenstein-two key words that describes who I am. My role as a bride and belonging to Frankenstein are the most important traits that make up this female monster." I was so pissed that I need some actual research on digging up her real name and it turns out that the author didn't name her or the Frankenstein monster. Frankenstein is the name of the creator, therefore the Frankenstein monster doesn't have a name of his own either. That made me feel a bit better. Excuse the long rant, it had to come out.

 I found my husband! Haa!

Loving this costume. You did a magnificent job. I don't know how you managed to do this, it looks extremely hard *_*
